Personal Growth NONVIOLENT COMMUNICATION WORKSHOPS TBA (to be announced) Compassionate communication is based on Nonviolent Communication (NVC), the teachings of Marshall Rosenberg. It's purpose is to connect and communicate from the heart by transforming judgments and reactivity into compassionate understanding of ourselves and one another. Our focus in this retreat is to give participants an overview of the key teachings of NVC and to begin to express honestly without criticism and blame and receive empathically, without hearing criticism and blame. Kathleen will be offering a follow up Compassion Practice Group for support in on-going learning and practice.Please call to put yourself on an interested list for these and future workshops. SUNDAY MORNING RETREATS Sunday mornings: March 31, April 21, May 26 10 am - 1 pmat the Volcano Rainforest Retreat with Kathleen Golden, Community Dharma Leader Join us for a morning of meditation, which is focused on deepening meditative practice. Our day together will include silent sitting, walking meditation, a brief dharma talk or tape, as well as a question and answer session. Kathleen is a Community Dharma Leader, trained at Spirit Rock Meditation Center in California, as well as receiving training and guidance from Senior Vipassana Teachers, Kamala Masters and Steve Armstrong at a number of intensive retreats.
